什麼是卡爾費歇爾法?
如下面化學反應公式(1)所示,卡爾‧費歇爾法使用卡爾‧費歇爾試劑測定水分含量,該試劑定量地、有選擇性地與水發生反應。卡爾‧費歇爾試劑的組成成分是碘、二氧化硫、鹽基和醇類等溶劑。

如下所述,這種方法可以用於容量及庫倫滴定系統。

庫倫測定庫倫滴定
用庫倫滴定法滴定。將試樣加入電解液中,其主要成分是碘化物離子、二氧化硫、鹽基以及醇類等溶劑。如公式(2)所示,通過電解氧化作月產生碘,直接與卡爾‧費歇爾試劑發生反應。

按照法拉第定律,碘的產生與電量成正比。這就意味著,含水量可以從電解氧化所需庫倫數直接得出來。
1mg的水=10.71庫倫
如圖1所示,需要兩種類型的庫倫試劑:一種是陽極電解液,置電解槽的陽極室中,另外一種是陰極電解液,置於電解槽的陰極室中。庫倫試劑不需要標定。另一個優點是可以反複使用。
容積滴定容量滴定
在一個燒中放入適合於試樣的脫水溶劑。用滴定劑從該溶劑中轉移所有的水分。然後,加入試樣。用滴定劑進行滴定,滴定量(mgH2O/mL)是事先生確定的。試樣的水分含量由滴定容量(mL)確定的。使用恒定電流極化電壓法檢測終點。圖2顯示了典型的在市場上銷售的自動容積滴定系統的各個組成部分。
