Heated valve enclosures

These insulated heated valve enclosures allow Valco valves to be operated at temperatures independent of other controlled zones of analytical instruments. The compact construction and minimum power dissipation enable mounting within larger, lower temperature zones without significantly raising the larger oven’s minimum temperature or impairing its programmability.

All heated valve enclosures include a heater block and a heater cartridge with line cord. The product number chart lists the heater size typically required to heat the valve(s) to the indicated temperature. Holes are provided in the heater block for Perkin Elmer, Agilent, and Varian temperature sensors, with an additional thermocouple hole permitting temperature readout.

Note: Heated valve enclosures provide a way to heat valves. A GC’s auxiliary temperature zone controller or a device such as our ITC (instrumentation temperature controller) is required to maintain the set temperature.
